PROPOSED NATIONAL CHILDREN HANDBOOK
"UHURU CHILDREN’S RIGHTS"

Conversations are underway to adopt the UHURU Children’s Rights textbook as a National Children’s Handbook, aimed at decisively addressing the persistent neglect and gross abuse of children in Nigeria—conditions that have continued to fuel banditry and terrorism by making vulnerable, uninformed children easy targets for recruitment.

Key stakeholders: Board Chairman of UBEC Senator Umar Tanko Al-Makura, Coordinator of the Tinubu Support Organization Hajiya Mariya Buhari, and Comrade Uchenna Umez. The initiative is being advanced to the Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, in collaboration with the 35 States First Ladies, FCT Minister's wife, and the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare of Benue State.
